A love for God and my family are at the core of what I value in life. A good, no GREAT, cup of coffee is a required staple of my day.
I grew up in a Christian home but never really engaged my faith until my adult life. I am a technical thinker and often struggle with the logic of an all powerful God. I always knew in my heart that God was real, but my struggles with doubt were strong and very real. It was only when I realized that God is so loving that He gave us the choice to believe in Him that I understood the fact that doubt wasn’t always bad. The very ability to doubt is a requirement for us to have the gift of free will. Doubt isn’t a bad thing, it’s what you do with it that counts.
Understanding that doubt gave me the ability to ask hard questions and then seek out answers, I set out to overcome my doubt and grow closer to God. This is when I began my REAL relationship with God. Understanding that real relationships require work and time to grow gave me the peace to ask God the though questions and listen for the answers.
I am someone that doesn’t take no for an answer and I am not afraid to dig deep to find answers to tough questions or solutions to problems that others can’t solve. I am a self-professed gadget geek and an extremely dedicated husband and father. My greatest passion in life is to help others be the best version of themselves possible. My hope and calling is to help others grow closer to God and experience the personal relationship God wants to have with each and every one of us.
I am currently working on my second book, a story of a person struggling to understand a tragedy in his life and where God was when it his life turned upside down.
